The River of Kings — Guided Urban Hike Along the Tiber
Follow the ancient, magical Tiber through Rome’s living history and urban wilderness. Join a local expert to discover wildlife corridors, hidden views, and fascinating river legends — all in the heart of the city.

- Duration: ~3.5 hours (includes briefing, explanations and a short rest)
- Distance & difficulty: ~10 km — Medium (uneven terrain)
- Meeting: Piazzale Ostiense — please arrive 15 minutes early
- Finish: Piazza del Popolo (A-line subway) — one-way route
- Language: English
- Suited for: Hikers, expats, tourists, families (children 14+ must be accompanied by an adult)

What to bring
- Obligatory: hiking shoes, 1.5 L water, clothing suited for an urban hike 🟢
- Recommended: comfortable backpack, raincoat, sunscreen, hat, trail snacks 🟡
