Begin observing your own surroundings now, and learn what to look for as seasons unfold. Plan ahead to plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of contentment by applying both physical and conceptual perception to your planning process.

Second on the agenda: An alternative 4th of July festival based on permaculture principles of interdependence are in the visualization stage until the end of the January. Tillson Arts & Ecology AKA New York Permaculture Exchange will produce the festival. These organizations are DBA's for the organizer of this meetup, Claudia Joseph.
The January 13th meetup will be an opportunity for the meetup group to pitch proposals and brainstorm spontaneously, face-to-face. I have often enjoyed being among an empowered community of teachers and learners who share knowledge freely. Does that sound inviting? Face to face interactions sustain our humanity and can improve our ability to adapt locally to quickly changing conditions by strengthening relationships. Along with the usual land and energy based topics, permaculture includes wellness arts, music, poetry, storytelling, dance and other expressive arts that revitalize and carry forward culture.
