Rooftop Rhythms Poetry Open Mic #101, scheduled for Oct 27, has been postponed.

While we strongly believe that poetry platforms are vital spaces for our community, this decision was made out of sensitivity to those who are grieving during these difficult times.

Event Details:

Locally-based artists speak their truths from the roof at Rooftop Rhythms.

Join us on Friday, October 27, for a poetry slam competition and poetry open mic featuring emerging and established poets, musicians, and other performance artists presenting original work. Join founder and emcee, Dorian Paul Rogers, with DJ Shidi supplying the smooth grooves.

Location: The Marketplace at NYU Abu Dhabi

Opening DJ Set: 7:30pm

Performances: 8pm

Tickets for this event are complimentary. Pre-booking is highly recommended. If tickets sell out, try the standby line at the door on the night as limited tickets will be released based on cancellations.
