Rookery Bay Research Reserve in Naples, Florida, covers 40% of Collier County's coastline stretching from Keewaydin Island through the Western Everglades. The Rookery Bay Environmental Learning Center has aquariums, a touch tank, exhibits, nature trails, a butterfly garden, an art gallery, monthly forest bathing (Oct. through April) and special events. Guided kayak and boat tours are led by a vendor that won Best Kayaking Tour in the US for 2020 and 2021 by USA Today. Kayak rentals are also available. Enjoy some fun adventures in this beautiful area!

Nature journaling is all about slowing down and taking in your surroundings. Discover how deep attention leads to curiosity, and how curiosity develops into a vibrant experience that strengthens your connection to the world around you. Whether spending time with a hermit crab, studying a leaf, or watching an estuarine fish, class participants will find writing, drawing, and asking questions to be valuable tools in making that connection.

Each evening features engaging experts, interesting topics, interactive exhibits, food and drinks, a scavenger hunt and prizes.
## Enhancing Well-being and Resilience Through Connection to Nature
Dr. Brent Jackson of Florida Gulf Coast University’s Water School explores the powerful link between time in nature and people’s well-being. Drawing from both research and real-world experience, he shares how reconnecting with the natural world can reduce stress, boost resilience and enhance overall health.
## Schedule
- Doors open at 5:30pm. Test your knowledge of the night’s topic with an answer hunt. There will be prizes!
- Snacks and drinks will be served until 6:30pm, when the presentation begins.
- Event concludes at 7:30pm.
