Join Rookery Bay for 3 fascinating after-hours programs this fall, blending science, conservation and fun! Each evening features engaging experts, interesting topics, interactive exhibits, food and drinks, a scavenger hunt and prizes.
## Plastics in the Environment
Jean Waller and Loralee LeBoeuf from the League of Women Voters Plastics Task Force tackle the growing issue of single-use plastics in the environment, food chain and even people. Learn what this means for Florida’s wildlife, coastlines and personal health. Discover simple, practical steps anyone can take to make a difference.
## Schedule
- Doors open at 5:30pm. Test your knowledge of the night’s topic with an answer hunt. There will be prizes!
- Snacks and drinks will be served until 6:30pm, when the presentation begins.
- Event concludes at 7:30pm.
