About us
ROOTED in Joy is a weekly, in-person community for people who want more connection, energy, and joy in their everyday lives.
This group is for adults who are craving meaningful relationships, engaging conversation, and spaces where they can both laugh and reflect. We believe joy includes ease and depth, lightness and honesty, play and presence.
Our weekly gatherings include guided reflection, meaningful conversation, and simple joy practices designed to spark connection, insight, and aliveness. Some evenings are thoughtful and grounding. Others are playful, energizing, and full of laughter. All are rooted in real human connection.
ROOTED in Joy is not therapy and not a lecture. It’s a welcoming community where people show up as they are, build trust over time, and leave feeling more connected, energized, and seen.
If you’re looking for a weekly space to reconnect with yourself and others—and to experience joy that feels both real and alive—you’re warmly welcome.

Joyfully Single - A Book Discussion Group
The EPIC Joy Lounge, Highway 81, Anderson, SC, USA facilitated conversation with the author.
This book discussion group is hosted and facilitated by Dr. Pamela Larde, author of Joyfully Single—a reflective, research-informed, and deeply human exploration of joy, wholeness, and self-trust in seasons of singleness.
This is not a dating group, and it’s not about “fixing” singleness or rushing toward the next chapter. It’s a space to slow down, reflect, and explore what it means to live with joy and integrity right now.
As the author and facilitator, Dr. Larde will guide conversations that go beyond the page—offering context, stories, gentle prompts, and practical joy practices drawn from the book and her broader work in well-being, leadership, and personal growth.
Together, we’ll gather to:
- Explore key themes and chapters from Joyfully Single
- Engage in thoughtful, honest discussion
- Reflect on personal experiences in a supportive space
- Practice simple, grounding joy and well-being tools
- Build authentic connection with others on a similar journey
Who this group is for
- People who are single at any stage of life
- Those navigating transitions, healing, or self-rediscovery
- Readers who want deeper conversation with the author
- Anyone curious about joy, wholeness, and meaningful connection
What to expect
- A warm, welcoming, and facilitated environment
- Guided reflection and open discussion
- No pressure to share more than you want

Whether you’re joyfully single, questioning what that means, or learning how to reconnect with yourself in this season, this space is designed to support reflection, growth, and genuine connection.
