Details

We read to remember, to heal, and to build—together. 🍃👑

Rooted Kingship presents the "Rooted Reading Circle" — Black August Edition, a bi-weekly study space where men come as they are to read, reflect, and grow. We’re inspired by the spirit of Black August—freedom work, discipline, and community care. Expect brotherhood over bravado, support over advice, and honest conversation that turns pages into practice.

Who this is for: Men seeking a grounded, respectful space to study liberation and masculinity with others—especially Black men. Allies are welcome who honor the container.

What we do:

  • Bi-weekly 75–90 min sessions (online to start)
  • Read-aloud passages + guided prompts
  • “Rooted Practice” actions you can live for two weeks
  • Optional journaling + WhatsApp check-ins

Our values: Brotherhood • Authenticity • Growth • Respect • Positivity. No one does life alone here.

Accessibility: Zoom captions on; message us if you need anything else.
