About us
Roots Fusion Dance is a partner dance gathering rooted in connection, consent, and creative collaboration. We dance fusion and micro-fusion, blending elements of blues, tango, west coast swing, waltz, zouk, lindy, bachata, and other frame-based partner styles, set to contemporary music with varied tempos.
What to Expect

• Gender-free lead/follow; role switching encouraged
• Supportive, community-minded atmosphere
• Recreational drug- and alcohol-free space
Cost
• $7–14 sliding scale (financial support available—ask an organizer)
Consent & Safety
Fusion can range from open hold to close embrace. Please obtain consent—verbally or clearly—before close embrace, especially with new partners. No high lifts; low lifts require clear verbal consent. Footwear
Clean, non-scuffing indoor shoes recommended. Bare feet allowed at your discretion.
