Trance Formation for Transformation

Learn to enter these states with intention, unlock insight, and return clear, grounded, and ready to create real change. A 90-minute experiential workshop on altered states, for seekers, intuitives, and magical practitioners.

Trance is one of the oldest spiritual technologies—and one of the most natural. You’ve likely touched it in everyday moments: losing yourself in music, drifting into a daydream, or feeling so absorbed in a story that the rest of the world fades away. In magical and healing traditions, trance becomes a doorway—one you can choose to open—to insight, transformation, and connection with the unseen.

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn to enter trance intentionally, navigate it with purpose, and return from it feeling clear, grounded, and energized. You’ll explore:

• The history of trance in magical and healing traditions
• What modern science reveals about brainwaves and altered states
• The role of trance in intuitive development and energy work
• A repeatable technique to enter trance quickly and safely
• Why exiting trance properly matters—and how to do it

We’ll move between learning and doing—you’ll observe live demonstrations, be guided through your own trance journey, and have time for reflection and integration. Handouts will be provided so you can continue practicing after class.

Bonus for Participants: Completing this workshop gives you priority registration for future TranceLab sessions—our ongoing exploration of trance for healing, magic, and expanded perception.

This workshop is offered in-person only and alternates between two locations:

• The Barn at A Green Witch’s Garden in Greenwich, CT – a cozy, converted studio space (directions provided after registration)
• Artemisia Wellness Center in downtown Stamford, CT – a professional wellness hub with free parking and easy access

Instructor: Marija Mikolajczak, Certified Hypnotherapist, Reiki Master, Dowser, and Director of the Green Witch School of Practical Magic. Her work blends subconscious transformation with earth-based spiritual practices to help students reconnect with their intuition, inner wisdom, and the unseen energies that support real change.
