Rope Flow Barcelona is a space for exploring the art of rope through the practices of Shibari — Kinbaku — in a quiet, safe, and educational environment.
We welcome all experience levels, but our heart is especially with beginners and the rope-curious — those who feel an interest in rope but may not know how to start, what it involves, or even what questions to ask.
We’re here to guide you gently into that curiosity, with no pressure, no expectations, and no need to “already know” anything.
We introduce different rope styles and share the history, terminology, and cultural roots behind the practice, always with beginners in mind.

We host a variety of events designed to make rope accessible, inspiring, and beginner-friendly:
Beginner Rope Jams
Casual, open practice sessions where absolute beginners can explore at their own pace. Come solo, with a partner, or just to observe — no experience needed, no pressure to tie or be tied.
Quiet Jams
A more introspective space to tie or be tied in silence — ideal for those who enjoy a calmer, more meditative rope experience.
History & Tea: Kinbaku Origins
A cozy event combining Japanese tea ceremony and a deep dive into the roots, history, and cultural context of Kinbaku.
Aibunawa Workshops
Explore the sensual and emotional side of rope. These sessions focus on subtlety, presence, and non-verbal connection — perfect for those drawn to slower, more intimate forms of tying.
Tantra & Shibari Workshops
A fusion of Tantric practices and rope play, focusing on breath, energy, touch, and connection. These workshops invite deeper presence, embodiment, and awareness in the tying experience.
