What we’re about

A Midweek Film Conversation (Hump Day Edition)
Wednesday, February 11
7:30 PM to 8:44 PM AZ MST
Online via Zoom (link sent after registration)
About This Event
Wednesday is the midpoint.
The stretch between responsibility and rest.
So let’s put a movie there.
Roped In Cinema Online is a twice-monthly film gathering for people who love cinema and actually want to talk about it. Not to review. Not to rank. Not to explain. Just to sit with it together.
This is a relaxed, curated space to slow down midweek and connect through film, memory, themes, and feeling.
Think
Blockbuster aisle energy
Cinephile curiosity
Low pressure conversation
People who notice things when they watch movies
What We’ll Do
We gather on Zoom for a guided but casual film conversation.
We talk themes, moments, performances, and what stayed with us.
You can share or just listen. Both are welcome.
You leave feeling a little more grounded than when you logged on.
The film selection will be shared ahead of time so everyone can watch on their own before we meet.
Who This Is For
People who miss talking about movies after the credits roll
Cinephiles and casual lovers alike
Former Blockbuster kids
Anyone who thinks Wednesday deserves something better than scrolling
Introverts welcome. Cameras optional. Pajamas allowed.
