Embedded Systems – Lessons from 10+ Years
Details
In this session, I will share my personal journey in embedded systems and IoT development over the past decade.
The goal of this talk is to give practical insight into how real embedded products are built and what engineers usually learn only after years of experience.
I started my career working with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication modules. Over time, I worked on many embedded systems projects across firmware, hardware integration, and IoT platforms. Along this path there were many challenges, failures, and lessons that shaped my approach to building reliable systems.
In this meetup I will discuss:
• How my embedded systems journey started
• Early projects and key learning moments
• Real problems faced during product development
• Common mistakes engineers make in embedded systems
• Firmware development practices that improve reliability
• Moving from device firmware to IoT platforms and cloud
• Advice for engineers starting a career in embedded systems
This session is meant to be practical and honest. The focus is on lessons learned from real projects, not theory.
If you are a student, a firmware engineer, or someone interested in building IoT products, this talk will give you a clearer view of the field and the skills that matter.
There will also be time for questions and discussion at the end of the session.
