Bay area meetup group for Robot Operating System (ROS) users.
ROS is an open source set of software libraries and tools that help you build robot applications. Meetups will focus on talks about ROS, Gazebo, and other elements of the ROS ecosystem. Topics can range anywhere from core development to research projects to product development.
If you want to share your experiences with ROS or come listen and discuss, this is the group for you!

ROS By-The-Bay is the Bay Area's only meetup exclusively for Robot Operating System (ROS) users.
For our next meetup we'll be back at Google X located at 250 West Mayfield Avenue in Mountain View!
Our speakers this month will include:
- Katherine Scott who will discuss the recent ROS 2 Kilted Kaiju release and the plans for Lyric Luth release in 2025.
- Abhinav Das, Co-founder and CEO of Orangewood Robotics.
- Shivani Mouleeswaran, Co-founder and CEO of Ember Robotics on "Monitoring Robots in Network-Denied Environments." This talk will discuss designing an observability stack for offline operation, making it easier to trace and resolve failures in the field.

- We'll provide pizza and refreshments!
- We plan to have at least two hours for networking.
