Rose City Science Fiction & Fantasy Writers is hosting a cozy, half-day convention (WinterCon) at the Sellwood Community Center, a chance to come in from the cold and spend an afternoon with books, panels, and fellow SFF fans and writers. Come enjoy a live fantasy podcast, local boardgame maker playtesting, medieval swords, and in-depth panels. Attendance is free, but signing up for individual panels is recommended to ensure your spot.

Playtest Board Games at the Rose City SFF WinterCon 2026!
From 5 PM to 8 PM, the lobby will be open for playtesting local board games! Hosted by Stumptown Gamecrafters' Guild.

Celebrate at the Cyber-magi 2025 Award Ceremony!
The annual Cyber-magi Award celebrates Portland-area science fiction and fantasy. These are unpublished stories in two categories: short stories and first chapters. This award presentation ceremony will include speeches and story excerpts.
