The Martha Riley Community Library does a free craft workshop each month (except for June). I'm going to start attending these craft meets, and people are welcome to join me there!
This September, they will be creating beeswax candles, made from beeswax sheets. They provide free materials for the workshop, while supplies last. The event room they have is pretty large with lots of tables, but of course I cannot guarantee how many people will be there. If you want to make sure you get a seat/free supplies be sure to arrive early. (That said, the last event I went to still had plenty of tables and materials available)
