Placer/Roseville LGBTQ+ Gatherings

About Our Group
This group was started to give Roseville its own LGBT+ Meetup. We skew toward an older attendance at our activities, but welcome all ages. We have a small team of organizers, and we welcome lesbians, bisexual members, trans+ members, and allies to take part in planning and hosting our events. Please drop a note to one of the team members if you're interested!

Our Regular Activities
• Roseville Gatherings – A few times a month, we plan lunches or dinners in Roseville. We have also planned movies, hikes, kayaking adventures and hope to have other non-food activities.

Hosting an Event
Members are encouraged to plan and host activities. Here’s how it works:
• Organizer events: If a current event organizer creates an event, they host it.
• Member-hosted events: Any member can propose and host an activity (e.g., dinner out, a house party, going to a concert, camping, etc.).
• Planning details: Host is responsible for making any arrangements—such as reservations, schedules, or tickets.
• Posting event: Once details are set, event is posted through Meetup so group members receive the invitation.
• RSVPs: Members RSVP on Meetup, and host can see who is attending and provide additional updates as needed

Our Goal
Our main purpose is to create a friendly, welcoming, and low-stress space to:
• Connect with others in the local LGBT+ community
• Build friendships and social support here in Roseville
• Enjoy activities, events, and time together

Abuse of other members is not tolerated and will result in removal from this group and blocking.
