About us
The purpose of our group is to share ideas, build skills and help others learn how to sew by hand, adults and teens are welcome. All levels of skill are welcome to come as projects are aimed at being easy enough for beginners, but one can add to each project to embellish and develop more advanced skills. All events will end with a finished product you've made with your new knowledge and skills, as well as a new network of people to share with.

Fabric Bowl Workshop
Location not specified yetLearn the basics of how to use a sewing machine by making this beautiful and practical fabric bowl. Life is better when we employ our hands and skills to make lovely things to share. I supply all materials and tools, as well as sewing machines in my cozy living space (there is a parrot and a cat in the household).
Have a glass of wine and chat after sewing!
Please use Paypal or Venmo and I will send you an address for the event. Please input your phone number so I can remind you the night before the event and we can communicate directly as needed for directions or payments.
Please let me know if you have any questions!
I have taught English in the public school system for almost 30 years and I have been holding free and paid Meetups for 4 years. I have sewing art pieces on show, have placed in national competitions and currently have a piece in an international exhibition through the Studio Art Quilts Associates, Stitchpunk, as well as a piece in the online collection, Breaking Boundaries.
