All AMORC members, their family, and close friends of the Rosicrucian Order are cordially invited to participate in an Atrium Group Convocation titled “Spiritual Alchemy”.
Centuries ago alchemists in their laboratories worked to transmute base metals into gold.
This transmutation was carried out in many stages, and followed a functional progression which became more and more difficult during the approach to its final phase.
Its base element was generally lead, its purifying agent fire, and its support a crucible.
However, though shocking to less-schooled profane, this material alchemy, which formed the origins of modern chemistry, was just the counterpart of a spiritual alchemy based on the gradual purification of the human soul.
The aim of the experiment that we will carry out in this convocation is twofold:
To explain what spiritual alchemy consists of… and
To practice the principles concerned several times so you have a working tool to transmute your faults going forward
Given that the aim is to perfect ourselves, and that we all have weaknesses to correct, this experiment could become the object of regular application, even for minor failings.
