October 2024’s book selection is “Chai Time at Cinnamon Gardens” by Shankari Chandran.

Cinnamon Gardens Nursing Home is nestled in the quiet suburb of Westgrove, Sydney – populated with residents with colourful histories, each with their own secrets, triumphs and failings. This is their safe place, an oasis of familiar delights – a beautiful garden, a busy kitchen and a bountiful recreation schedule.
We try to start on time, so please try to get to Rosie’s Snug at Johnny Fox’s Pub in Northbridge with enough time to buy a drink and/or some dinner before you join us. And don't forget to RSVP if you are planning to attend, so that we can keep the venue up to date with numbers.

We are a pretty friendly and casual bunch of ladies, so if you are new to Perth, or have been wanting to meet some like minded people, then don't be shy, we would love to meet you!
