What we’re about

Special Note: The Rotaract Club of Metro Washington, D.C. folded a few years ago. While this group is still active, members of this group are invited to attend meetings and/or events hosted by the Rotary Club of Federal City (Washington, D.C.) While I am a member of Rotary, in the next few weeks, I will be looking for a group of dedicated individuals to re-establish the Rotaract Club of Metro Washington, D.C. For further information, please contact Navin at rotaractryla@yahoo.com

------------------------------------------------------------------

"Rotaract" stands for "Rotary in Action" and is a program of Rotary International for young adults between the ages 18-30 focusing on students and young working professionals. It was established in 1968 by Rotary International and clubs are found in over 160 countries around the world.

Our club is committed to service and leadership. We provide an opportunity for everyone to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service - - a recipe for making a difference.

Join our meetup group to have an impact in the Washington, D.C. area, meet new people and have a great time.

Everyone is welcome, so come and check us out!
