Rotterdam Cooking Club - Cooking with Mystery Ingredient

Welcome to Rotterdam Cooking Club — a new initiative in Rotterdam to bring cooking lovers together. Whether you're a complete beginner, amateur, or professional cook, this is a way to meet up with people in a nice setting while enjoying cooking together and learning from each other — and about each other.
This is our third event! The previous two were super chill — we had clearly planned themes and recipes, and it was fun to work together in a structured way. But following a recipe didn’t really allow us to be creative.
So this time, to bring in more of a creative aspect, we’re planning to do a Mystery Ingredient Challenge.
Depending on the number of attendees, we’ll split into 2 or 3 groups. From the ingredients provided, we’ll create a starter, main, and dessert — so you’ll have to use your creativity and think out of the box. The ingredients will only be revealed during the event. We’ll have about 15–20 minutes to brainstorm, then we’ll start cooking.
This way, we’ll have a very collaborative and creative session, and at the end, we’ll sit and enjoy the outcome together!
There will also be a shared pantry of basic staples (like salt, flour, oil, spices, sugar, etc.) that everyone can use to support their ideas.
