This workshop is limited to 4 participants, and combine explained theory, guided practice during our "Let's go out" workshops (free of charge), and constructive feedback.

## What will you learn?

You will develop technical skills, learn visual composition, and get more confidence.

- Develop your photographic eye and strengthen visual storytelling;
- Get inspired by famous photographers and learn more about their technics;
- Learn how make your subject to stand out;
- Learn composition techniques to improve your images;
- Understanding natural light: how to observe shapes, shadows, silhouttes, and use available light creatively;
- Common photography mistakes — and how to avoid them;
- Creative exercises to unlock your unique style;
- Learn about different types of camera lenses and special effects;

After this workshop, you will be able to test by yourself the best photo composition, and which technic to use.

## Do I need to have previous knowladge?

You don't need to have previous knowladge for this workshop. However, if you know how to work with the manual settings of a camera, or if you have attended to the workshop "Learn photography basics and master manual mode." you will be able to understand better some technics and how to apply them.

This workshop is limited to a maximum of 4 participants.

This hands-on workshop invites you to explore the behavior of light, and discover how filters can transform it. Through playful experimentation, you’ll set up studio lighting and learn essential techniques.
We will work in a team, and you'll he opportunity to take on different roles: the photographer, creative director, photographer assistant, and you can also pose to the camera, if you would like to get some professional, creative, and artistic portraits of yourself.

During the workshop, you will learn and practice:

• Basic properties of light (reflection, refraction, and diffusion);
• How light can shape mood and atmosphere;
• Experiment light color mixing using neons and filters;
• Create visual compositions using light overlaps, shadow and silhouettes;
• Using optical lenses and filters for creative shots (kaleidoscope, prisms, and many others)
