Hello all,

We would like to welcome you to a crossover from your two favorite Meetup groups: Amsterdam.rb x Rotterdam.rb

We'll have a true Rotterdam line-up of speakers with Derk-Jan from Delft Solutions and Bob from Beequip.

18:00: Doors open, have a drink and some food
19:00: Opening statements

First talk: Derk-Jan Karrenbeld
Embrace the patch: When OSS fails or you need to backport a fix. We'll look at monkey patching, rails framework callbacks, vendoring gems, using yarn patch and patch-package , and a quick look at git patches and debian patch.

Second talk: Bob Smits
A company implemented more than 300 state machine events. This is what happened.

±20:45: Socializing and networking

It'll be hosted at the office of Beequip and they'll provide the foods & drinks as well.

This location is accessible, no stairs required, but make sure to use the entrance on the Willemskade for access to the elevator.

There will be no stream this time, so be sure to join in person.
