Want to learn how the bicycle infrastructure of Rotterdam is developing? Our guides are specialists on cycling in the city and can tell you all about the history, the present and the future.
The first meetup will be around the topic of cycling history and cycling infrastructure in Rotterdam!
🚲 WHAT TO EXPECT
We'll have a bicycle tour of 2 hours in Rotterdam. You'll learn how the city transformed from car city to a city that is more and more focussed on active mobility (walking+biking).
You'll see the Maastunnel and Rotterdam bridges and examples of recent bicycle infrastructure improvements, with text & context on multiple locations.

🚲 WHAT TO BRING
- If you have a bike, bring your bike. (If you don't have a bike that's no problem: You can rent one, anywhere you like. We can help with this, in example with renting a OV bike for 4 euros per 24 hours)
- To be comfortable, you could take some small snack with you (i.e. muesli bar), and a water bottle for example
🚲 PRICE
The price of this tour is 5 euros. Please pay in advance using this payment link. We will ask for it at the start of the tour.
During the tour a drink at a cafe is included.
🚲 TIME+LOCATION
We'll start on Saturday at 10:30 AM. The start location is outside at Rotterdam Central Station square, next to the entrance of the underground bicycle parking garage. You might recognise our faces.
