Harbour cycle tour

After the first cycle tour where we showed you the best of the Rotterdam Bicycle Infrastructure, we will head to much bigger infrastructure in this next tour. We will make a tour around some of the most remote places in the oldest active harbours of Rotterdam, places where most of the people never come. We will visit the Waalhaven, Heijplaat, Pernis and the M4H area (Merwede- en Vierhavens).

Join this tour if you like to see more of Rotterdam, and learn a bit about its history. You don't have to be a racing biker: a good 15 km/h is good enough. The distance of the trip we make is 35km in total and takes approximately 4 hours. During the trip we'll make stops at multiple nice locations. Make sure you sign up :-)

🚲 TIME

We'll be present on Saturday at 12:45 PM. We'll start at 1 PM, so make sure you are on time 🕰️

🚲 LOCATION

The start location is outside at Rotterdam Central Station square, next to the entrance of the underground bicycle parking garage.

🚲 PRICE

The price of this tour is 7,50 euros. Please pay in advance using this payment link. Or bring it in cash. We will ask for it at the start of the tour.

🚲 WHAT TO BRING

1. You need a bike. If you have a bike, bring your bike. If you don't have a bike, you can rent one anywhere you like. Rent an OV bike for example for only 4,15 euros. Or rent a "3 speed" Donkey Republic for 10 euros.

2. To be comfortable, you could take some small snack with you (i.e. muesli bar) and a water bottle for example

🚲 WHAT IF IT RAINS?

If it rains a little, we go. Make sure you adjust your clothing, i.e. take a rain coat and/or an umbrella with you.

If it rains heavily, the tour will be cancelled. We will inform you the evening before the tour.
