Workshop: The Right Skills, the Wrong Feelings
Details
Let's talk about something that nobody in tech is saying out loud!
The Right Skills, The Wrong Feelings: A workshop about doing what you need to do to be successful, but not feeling fulfilled.
You're learning the skills, showing up, going to the interviews and building something for yourself. But which part of you is actually driving this? The part performing for approval or the part that knows what you actually want? What does it even mean to know exactly what you want?
This workshop is for women trying to get into tech, women already in it and women who got there and are wondering why it doesn't feel the way they thought it would.
Especially if you're doing all of this in a country, an industry, or a language that isn't your first, you know what it costs to perform your way in.
In this workshop we'll explore:
- Why the skills that get you the career aren't the same skills that help you feel good once you have it.
- What performing for approval costs you.
- Three practical exercises to start hearing what you actually want, not what you think you should want.
No tips to implement. Just honest work in a room full of women!
Your facilitator: Ioana Vieru, coach and speaker working with people who've built a successful life on the outside but don't feel successful on the inside. Before coaching, she spent 12 years in B2B tech sales. She knows what it looks like to build a career that works on paper but doesn’t feel good.
