Rotterdam Writers' Circle

Dear members of Rotterdam Writers' Circle,

Welcome to the creative writing meet-up, where the discussions range from ideating about books and screen writing, mental health and the art of editing, followed by a long writing session. We meet same place, same time.

Let's get together for some needed writing and much needed meet and greet.

The session will take place between 11:00 and 13:00 in Rotterdam Central, Cafe @Home.

During the session, we shall spend the first 15 mins in quick introductions, followed by an hour of concentrated writing. You can choose to work on your WIP or I can share prompts to inspire some writing. After an hour and half, those who are interested can pair up and share their writing to receive feedback, else we can spend the last half an hour speaking about our writing projects and discussing challenges, suggestions etc. The work in progress can be an excerpt from a novel/short story, an outline of a chapter or an entire book, a character description or even a query to a publisher/agent which you wish to perfect.

As a reminder, this group is dedicated to helping its members to improve their ability to write fiction.

This meet-up is for folks who are serious about developing their craft of writing and learning more.

PS: The group usually occupies the long table at the center of the cafe.
