# Learn-to-Play D&D 5e 2014: Dalelands, with House GM Jim on Saturday, August 9th, from 11am to 4pm, 6 Seats Maximum

Welcome to our D&D 5e Learn-to-Play at RPG Dungeons!
-2014 5th edition Learn to Play-

We will be offering a learn to play game for brand new folks, as well as players that want to increase their knowledge of the game.
The sessions will be conducted "RAW" (rule as written), and we will be using the 2014 core rules during these sessions. We will spend time creating characters, understanding and practicing spells, and practicing the "action economy" through combat scenarios.
This session will provide opportunities to practice all three tenets - "exploration", "combat", and "roleplaying". The #1 focus will be understanding and practicing the mechanics of the game.
Our hope is that you will be able to learn about and practice D&D 5e in a low-pressure, comfortable environment; hopefully each player will gain knowledge and confidence and be ready to join a long-term campaign.
