You're Already Dead! (Homebrew 5e in Da Underworld!)

You think you're fighting the dead? Nah Fam. You are the dead!
We need two or three new players to join an ongoing campaign set in a homebrew version of the Underworld as depicted by real world mythology and a sprinkling of Neil Gaiman and Braum. You play as shades, dead beings who can't get tired, eat, sleep, or dream. Not "don't need to." Can't. Everything is filthy, you're in constant risk of being eaten by demons or enslaved by devils, there is no sun or stars, and the only weather are dust storms and literal ghost tornadoes. Sound like fun?
Fortunately, you have a way out. You're not actually supposed to be down here. Your fate has been hijacked by an unknown entity. Getting your life, or afterlife, back on track requires making deals with entities of highly questionable morals. There are no good guys or bad guys in this world, just good or bad choices. Which will you make?
