Brindlewood Bay 3rd Generation / The Curse of Crystal Cove / Otsuka RPG Day

The members of the Murder Mavens Mystery Book Club hear about unusual happenings in the nearby town of Crystal Cove. But the rumours can't seem to agree on what exactly is going on. Sometimes it's a story of a funky phantom, others it's a caveman wandering around claiming military rank, others it's a story of a talking shark walking on land. Where the stories do seem to match is that people are being scared away from something. Someone needs to investigate... but there's no bus from Brindlewood Bay to Crystal Cove. And besides, Thursday is bingo night.

Pondering the problem Hanna Jones and Barbera Blake stumble upon an idea. They all have grandkids, the Mavens could ask them to head over to Crystal Cove and investigate on their behalf. Hanna's grandson Frederick has recently got a car, well more a speed buggy, but he could drive them all over. And the Rogers boy's dog could really do with a day out. Will this gang of meddling kids be able to get to the bottom of this mystery?
