One Ring RPG / By the Sign of the Prancing Pony / Otsuka RPG Day

Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, The One Ring sends players off into adventures set in North-West Middle-earth in the land of Eriador. Though it was once the domain of ancient kings, as the ages passed and the world darkened, it became a mere shadow of its former self. Only ruins of crumbling white stone, forgotten by Men, are left, the domain of terrible creatures who serve dark masters.

For some of you, you’ve travelled great distances for a meeting in the village of Bree with Gandalf only to be told by the landlord of the Prancing Pony that he’s been delayed! In the meantime, the wizard tells you to ‘make yourself useful around
the place’ and, whilst you wonder what that could possibly mean, the inn door slams open…

Pregenerated characters and dice will be provided, just bring a pencil and an eraser. The game uses a dice pool system using only d6s and d12s so feel free to bring your own too.
