Dragon Reactor / Otsuka RPG Day

“Dragon Reactor is a mythopoetic mech tragedy game about conflict on a grand scale. It’s about warring governments, rising rebellions, slowly-waking god-machines, and the effects forever-wars have on those involved. It’s about the ever-turning wheel of time, and how we’re always racing against it. It’s about wanting to do the right thing, but having to pull the trigger instead.”

Dragon Reactor is an rpg where you will take on the role of pilots who bond with and ride the mechanical Dragons that spill forth from the earth and take part in an ancient and unending war. In this session we will fleshing out the PCs and go through one or two conflicts in the world of Caliban.

It has interesting systems for structuring the narrative of a large scale battle in a story and emotion focused way- this is a high improv highly collaborative game so please come prepared for that.

we will be playing with rules from the quickstart that’s currently available (the game is being finalized and is estimated to release fully this year)

Pregenerated characters are provided and all you need to bring is a pencil and eraser. The game uses d6s exclusively (bring a handful if you wish but i will have enough for everyone to use as well)
