Leaf & Bean "Bike Nite": Summer trip discussion!

The summer trip dates are set: Sat 6/27 to Thu 7/2 (Possibly Fri lunch)
We are entertaining 2 options for this years "main" trip (see below).
I'd like those who are COMMITTED to participating in this trip to meet for discussion at coffee this week. If you can't make it, get hold of Dave P.

Option 1: Our "standard" ride south to N.Carolina to hit the Dragon and related roads (~2200mi). This trip costs about $1000 plus bike maint/tires.

Option 2: Fly to Las Vegas and rent bikes for a Southern California mountains tour. This will be similar to what 5 of us did last year in the north; total cost for 4 riding days (~1600mi) would start around $2000 including flight and bike.

It's important to know how many people would be in for one or the other trip!
