What to expect:
We will be hitting up all the breweries within a mile of downtown Akron. There might be another stop or two if the hare is feeling adventurous.
We meet and prelube for an hour before sending the hare off to lay trail using unique "hashing" marks that the pack must follow. Trail can go in any direction and anywhere. Check out our website: www.AkronHash.com
This is not your usual running/walking club. We guarantee you will see parts of Akron never before seen! It's a hare / hounds trail where the pack tries to catch the hare, with the ultimate goal of finding beer.
Length of trail is usually 4 to 6 miles with 2 to 3 refreshment breaks along the way.
What to bring besides a sense of humor and adventure:
• Buy your own beers on trail (all stops will be at breweries). Hare will cover circle beer.
• A dry bag is a good idea(change of clothes, especially shoes/socks) as you never know where trail will take you
• A friend or two for some extra companionship
• Extra money if you want to grab a bite to eat afterwards
Your ID as you never know if the trail will lead you to a bar
