What to expect:
There will be NO beer unfortunately, because of the winery’s liquor license.BCP will see what he can do about that..
But regardless, please be respectful of the winery’s rules:
No outside alcohol, and no smoking on the winery property. PERIOD!!
(Again, all rules apply to the entire estate, but BCP will see if there is wiggle room on the Homestead property.)
We meet and prelube for an hour before sending the hare off to lay trail using unique "hashing" marks that the pack must follow. Trail can go in any direction and anywhere. Check out our website: www.AkronHash.com
This is not your usual running/walking club. We guarantee you will see parts of Akron never before seen! It's a hare / hounds trail where the pack tries to catch the hare, with the ultimate goal of finding beer.
Trail Length is usually between 4 to 6 miles with 2 to 3 refreshment breaks along the way.
What to bring besides a sense of humor and adventure:
• $15 will get you beer / water on trail.
PLEASE RSVP ON MEETUP
• A dry bag is a good idea(change of clothes, especially shoes/socks) as you never know where trail will take you
• A friend or two for some extra companionship
• Extra money if you want to grab a bite to eat afterwards
Your ID as you never know if the trail will lead you to a bar
