What to expect:
5th Saturday Trail with Cleveland H 4. Hare works night before so expect hastily laid trail full of mistakes. But there are plenty of bars along the way in which to make good decisions. Hare will provide beer along the way and yellow food at some point. Yellow food for a Yellow trail. We will explore Cleveland's blown opportunities and maybe catch a glimpse of past glory at the old Cleveland Steamer factory.
We meet and prelube for an hour before sending the hare off to lay trail using unique "hashing" marks that the pack must follow. Trail can go in any direction and anywhere. Check out our website: www.AkronHash.com
This is not your usual running/walking club. We guarantee you will see parts of Akron never before seen! It's a hare / hounds trail where the pack tries to catch the hare, with the ultimate goal of finding beer.
Trail Length is usually between 4 to 6 miles with 2 to 3 refreshment breaks along the way.
What to bring besides a sense of humor and adventure:
• $15 will get you beer / water on trail.
PLEASE RSVP ON MEETUP
• A dry bag is a good idea(change of clothes, especially shoes/socks) as you never know where trail will take you
• A friend or two for some extra companionship
• Extra money if you want to grab a bite to eat afterwards
Your ID as you never know if the trail will lead you to a bar
