What we’re about
Rubber Ducks New Mexico is a networking, social, & educational group centered around female-identifying and non-binary adults in STEM.
Our group was founded in Albuquerque in 2017 with a mission to create a space for those that have traditionally been underrepresented in STEM roles (science, technology, engineering, and math). Our name comes from the concept of "rubber duck debugging" in computer programming, where you talk aloud to a rubber duck to help solve the problem at hand. And that's what we do for each other!
If you identify as non-binary or female and work in/are studying a STEM or Tech-related field, please request to join us here on Meetup! We look forward to meeting you.
Rubber Ducks NM is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment to all participants, online and offline, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, education, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion or lack thereof, socioeconomic status, caste or creed, political views, previous STEM experience or lack thereof, or technology choices.
