ROUTE: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50954623

This is a climber, with one shorter warm-up climb and two bigger ones, but we're done with the climbing at close to mile 22. We'll warm up on Cornelius Pass (cat 4 climb), then tackle Old Germantown (cat 3 climb). Then we'll descend to the troll bridge (admittedly, I've never been, so I'm REALLY excited!). We'll be on 30 for about a mile before climbing Logie for 3 miles back up to Skyline (cat 2 climb). This last will be our toughest climb, so we'll all crank it out at our own speeds and regroup at the top - or if you're fast, you're welcome to do hill repeats! We'll ride Skyline to Moreland, where we'll descend to Solberger to check out the flowers, then take Dorland to Shadybrook and spin it out on the flats.

Not a beginner ride but also not a racing ride. Make sure you have some solid climbing experience before joining this ride. We'll regroup at the top of hills and as needed.

ROUTE: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/50954623

13-15 mph average pace for this no-drop ride (your average pace for much flatter rides should be around 16-21 mph). We'll regroup at the top of hills and a couple of other places. Climb at your own pace. Bring a layer for fun times cruising down. Guidelines for this ride are: safety, flexibility, communication.
Everyone must have a copy of the route on their device, printed out, or in their head. If you decide to give it a try and maybe cut out early you need to be able to find your way back to the start.
You'll enjoy this ride if: you enjoy cycling in the forest, scenic vistas, and want to practice cranking up hills, but still have time to do other things later in the day. Or, you want to train or stay in shape for harder rides.
Coronavirus rules: 6 feet social distance
