Battle Snakes!

We've been having a lot of fun with Battle Snakes for the last few months, and we're continuing this next month. It's the classic Snakes game, except you program your own player class instead of controlling the snake manually. Then we pit our snakes against each other, and collaborate on improving.

This is a great exercise even for beginners, because we can provide starter code and simple instructions. From there, it's very easy to start building simple strategies. If you haven't done this before, please reach out to an organizer before the event. We can help you get started so you can hit the ground running on the big night.

You can build your BattleSnake in any programming language you want, not just Ruby. All are welcome!
