#1 TOPIC: Secret life of Git
https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/9/8/c/9/600_459999113.jpeg
“Secret life of Git” - my topic is about how Git works under the hood. And what’s happening inside, while responding to your commands. The topic is rather for nerds. But I hope some details would be interesting for everybody.
About the speaker:
Andriy is working in Matic Inc. company as a ruby developer with Ruby / Rails / OPS as his major expert areas - so feel free to ask your questions! Also, Andriy happens to be interested in functional programing.
#2 TOPIC: Data & Bounded Contexts
https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/9/8/d/3/600_459999123.jpeg
Just a small talk about data segregation/modularity from the DDD perspective. It might be interesting for engineers that have to deal with the huge projects. Especially ones that are looking forward to visiting DDD workshop.
About the speaker:
Volodymyr works as a software engineer at OnApp. He is also a member of #pivorak core team and one of those who help us grow! Last year he made a real workshop for #pivorak dedicated to Building Component Based Rails Applications. His top interests are DDD, machine learning, microservices but ping-pong and poetry as well.
Also, Volodya was already present at DDD workshop in Wroclaw, so he has a lot of interesting stuff to share - you just have to ask ;)
#3 TOPIC: Strong and weak sides of Golang in production
https://secure.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/9/8/e/a/600_459999146.jpeg
There are a lot of technologies in nowadays. Golang is one of them. I want to share my point of view to this programming language: it benefits, strong and weak sides and why so many companies choose it - an overview of that technology and its key features. This topic is for wide range of specialists, open to the new technology and will be easy to understand for newbies. About the speaker:
Ivan is a SSE at SoftServe and uses Golang on daily basis for the last year. He has 10+ years of experience in web development with a switch from PHP world. He likes traveling and recently has spent a year in SEA region.
“I'm focusing on performance, quality, and automation. I try to optimize solutions, make them simpler, faster and stable. I’ve worked with the network, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GraphQL, and other technologies. I’m evangelist of Golang and developing this specialisation inside the company. So my goals for the nearest future are the systematization of knowledge and preparation of qualifications quizzes”.
