Melbourne Ruby
Details
An evening of talks on Ruby and related topics, plus socialising, food and drinks.
Our ever-wonderful speakers and topics are:
• Tom Spacek: Migrating away from Heroku to a local Australian host.
• Ben Turner: Ansible - your first step into server provisioning.
• Rhiana Heath: How to present
• Morten Primdahl: Growing Zendesk
This time around we'll be enjoying food from ASRC Catering (http://catering.asrc.org.au) - something a little different from the standard pizza, and we'll definitely have vegan/gluten-free/lactose-free options in the mix. The food is sponsored by Envato (http://www.envato.com) and Lookahead Search (http://www.lookahead.com.au), the drinks by Zendesk (http://zendesk.com), and the space by Inspire9 (http://inspire9.com).
Rock up from 6pm for some early chatter, we'll kick the proceedings off properly around 6:30, listen to talks, and then socialise further when dinner arrives.
