👋 Hello Everyone - We're Back!
After a long hiatus, the Ruby Perth Meetup is kicking off again! We'll be meeting at a new venue with some new faces to help run things, and are looking forward to seeing everyone.
If you've attended our local Ruby meetup in the past, it'll be great to see you again (no matter how long it's been!) And for those who haven't previously attended, we'd be excited to have you join us!

✅ What to Expect?
This is our first meetup in quite some time, so our plans are to have a simple, low-key gathering for August. Some things we'll cover:

• Recent news for Ruby, the local tech scene and the tech industry
• A couple of short talks
• General discussions
• Socialising
• Food from 6-6:30pm
• (Maybe even a surprise or two… 👀)

Food is normally provided with a vegetarian option; but if you have other dietary requirements, please let us know...

🏢 Venue

• The venue building security auto-locks at 5:30pm
• If you're running late, no dramas: just text/call the number above, and someone will promptly come to let you inside!
• New places are sometimes confusing: the building entry is down the passage way between London Court and Gemini when approaching from St Georges Terrace
• Not a virtual/hybrid meetup right now (but we're looking into it! 🔍)‎
