Michael’s Mission (CW 194) — Discussion & Coffee
Details
Join us for a relaxed, in-person discussion of Michael’s Mission (CW 194) by Rudolf Steiner. This will be an opportunity to meet others who are interested in Steiner’s ideas in a friendly, social setting.
We’ll be gathering at PhiloÇoffee to talk about this series of lectures, which explores the spiritual background of modern thinking, freedom, and responsibility. The goal is not to lecture or debate, but to share perspectives, questions, and experiences that arise from engaging with the text while enjoying some coffee (or tea, or a snack if caffeine isn’t your thing).
You do NOT need to read every lecture to attend.
Even reading one lecture is enough to participate, but if you do have to choose just one, please read the first lecture in the cycle. This event is meant to be accessible and welcoming, not academic or intimidating.
Whether you’re already familiar with Steiner’s work or just beginning to explore it, you’re welcome to join. The hope is to create a space where people can think together, get to know one another, and enjoy good conversation.
A book containing the set of lectures is available for purchase here.
Free digital copies of every lecture in the cycle are available here.
An audio recording of the complete lecture cycle is also available here.
