It can easily be seen that the life of human beings is related in many different directions to the environment and the dwelling place wherein they evolve. External science has already recognised the fact and concluded that the Earth has itself undergone evolution. There is a connection between the evolution of human beings and that of the heavenly body on which we live - the Earth. Spiritual Science traces this connection and perceives how the inner spiritual being of the human being has passed through a succession of lives upon Earth and beyond.
