🇳🇵 **R User Group Nepal** invites students to participate in a **two-day, hands-on training** on **“Introduction to R”**, focused on building foundational skills in data analysis and programming.

🎯 **Objectives:**
This course aims to introduce R, an environment for statistics and programming, to the beginner. It will cover basic elements (objects, function), fundamentals of data-manipulation (indexation), import & export of data, use of some additional R-packages and an introduction to data visualization.
Many small practical exercises will help you to learn by doing.

**Dr. Wolfgang Raffelsberger** is a CNRS research engineer working at the IGBMC in Strasbourg, France and specializing in biostatistics and bioinformatics. Besides his research oriented work, he also has longstanding teaching experience, in particular teaching R at master-, PhD- and expert-level at the University of Strasbourg and other places. He is also author of several R-packages.

**Binod Jung Bogati**  is a Senior Statistical Programmer and organizer of R User Group Nepal with experience in R and SAS for clinical and statistical programming. He is passionate about promoting open-source tools for data science and biostatistics in Nepal.
