Run and Protest with No Kings!
Details
Typically, we run a 3 mile loop on the first Sunday of each month. In April, we are making an exception to align with the 3/28 No Kings protest.

Run and Protest: We will start at the Amazon Spheres and take a 2-mile route towards Cal Anderson Park to join in with the No Kings rally and march (We'll update the meetup with the route as we get closer). Come run with fun, positive and energetic people while making brief stops at busy intersections to peacefully protest the growing authoritarianism of the Trump regime!
Pace: The running pace will be around 12 minute miles, with built in rest stops at the intersections where we protest. Having run our first event a couple of weeks ago, we can attest that running while holding a sign and protesting is a great full-body workout!
What to Bring: All you need to bring is your running gear and a sign. We have a bunch of extra signs to hand out but depending on how many people show up, we might not have enough for everyone.
The Vibe: Despite the seriousness of the decline into authoritarianism that we've witnessed in the past year, we're aiming for a positive, fun and family-friendly vibe. With an administration that's trying to create fear and stifle hope, we want to show that we're not afraid and that we're stronger than ever! Dictators and would-be dictators hate being laughed at...so funny, cheeky and witty signs are especially encouraged!
