Munții Siriu - Lacul Vulturilor - August 1st

On 1 August we head into the beautiful Siriu Mountains to discover one of Romania's most picturesque alpine lakes, Lacul Vulturilor. 🌿⛰️

The day includes two route options depending on fitness and preference.

Running Team 13 km with 400 m elevation gain.
Hiking Team: 10 km with 300 m elevation gain.
Both groups share the same destination and experience the mountain at a comfortable group pace.

Our route starts from the village of Crașna and gradually climbs through the forest before reaching the alpine meadows surrounding the lake. Along the way, we'll enjoy peaceful mountain scenery, wide-open landscapes, and one of the most rewarding viewpoints in the Curvature Carpathians.

🚗 We depart early morning from Bucharest and travel together by ride-sharing.

There will be a participation fee of 125 lei and an invoice will be issued. Transportation and meal are not included.

📌 Guidelines
•⁠ ⁠This event is not suitable for people with poor physical condition or with medical issues.
•⁠ ⁠Please inform the organizers in advance about your experience level and any relevant limitations.
•⁠ ⁠You should be comfortable moving in a group at a steady pace.
•⁠ ⁠If you cannot maintain the group pace, you are responsible for returning safely on your own.
•⁠ ⁠The main goal of the event is socializing, not performance.
•⁠ ⁠A WhatsApp group will be created two days in advance for coordination.
•⁠ ⁠Minors over 14 can join only with a parent or responsible adult.
•⁠ ⁠Alcohol and any psychoactive substances are not allowed.
•⁠ ⁠Please follow the organizers' instructions at all times.
