🍇 Run, hike & wine at Crama Budureasca!

On Saturday, 7 November, we’re heading to Dealu Mare, one of Romania’s most famous wine regions, for a day that combines movement, local food and a wine tasting at Crama Budureasca.
Nestled among the vine-covered hills near Tohani, Budureasca is one of the best-known wineries in Dealu Mare. Its wines, from Fătească Neagră and Tămâioasă Românească to international varieties, have won more than 500 medals at international competitions. In autumn, the vineyards turn gold and red, and the view over the hills is simply stunning.

We’ll enjoy a gastronomic snack and a wine tasting at the winery, discovering the wines and the story of Dealu Mare.

🚗 Ride-sharing will be organized among participants.

Guidelines
• Suitable for beginners and all active people. Runners should be comfortable with 15 km at an easy pace.
• Please tell us in advance about any medical limitations.
• Wear trail or running shoes with good grip; paths can be muddy after rain.
• Bring water, a windproof layer and a small snack for the activity.
• The goal is socializing and enjoying nature, not performance.
• A WhatsApp group will be created two days before the event.
• Participants aged 14+ may join only with a parent or responsible adult. The wine tasting is for participants aged 18+ only.
• Alcohol and psychoactive substances are prohibited during the running and hiking activities.
• Drivers: Romania has a zero-tolerance policy on drinking and driving. Please choose your designated driver in advance; non-alcoholic options will be available.
• Please follow the organizers’ instructions at all times.

### DETAILED ITINERARY

### RUNNING TEAM

• A route starting from the winery, through the vineyards, up to the terraces and back.
• 15 km / 200 m elevation gain

#### HIKING TEAM

• A hike to Stânca Tohani, a Natura 2000 protected site, with wide views over the vineyards and the Wallachian Plain.
• 10 km / 150 m elevation gain
