Last Long Run Before LSHM

Peet's Coffee

This is the last long run before the Lake Samammish Half Marathon. We're just going to keep it simple and familiar, starting at Peet's Green Lake. The only difference will be going counter-clockwise proceeding south on East Green Lake Way and Stone Way, the Burke going east...you know the drill. Let's run this nice and easy so we can run an awesome race the next weekend.

6.00 - 6.30 Arrive for warm up as needed 6.30pm Workouts begin For anyone that wants to develop running strength/speed. Generally[masked] meter intervals at date pace w/1:30 recovery. All abilities! Generally have different workouts going for individual needs. Workouts: TBD

Lake Sammamish Half Marathon

REDMOND TOWN CENTER

This is an annual favourite with the group. Great flat fast course with lovely views of Lake Sammamish and a really nice finish line vibe! "The Lake Sammamish Half Marathon takes runners along the smooth trail that connects Marymoor Park in Redmond to Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah. This interurban trail is very popular with runners; about 30% of the course will be on smooth gravel surface and 70% on pavement. We also offer a half-marathon walk category with a generous 4 hour time limit. This flat run is perfect for a half-marathon personal best whether you’re running or walking! The race is chip-timed, and each racer will receive a custom bib, a finisher medal, a long-sleeve microfiber Tech Shirt and sponsor products. Aid stations are provided every few miles (see course map) with Clif gels/bloks, fruit, nuun and water, and the finish line will be by the beach and includes a nice line up of food and music."
