Madison Park Run. New Route. New Starting Point. 9 miles.

Madison Park Bakery

Sunday is supposed to hit 81...for those inclined...please consider a post run swim at Madison Park Beach. So bring your swim suit as you see fit! Overview: New looping route starting in Madison Park, going through Madrona and back up to and through Interlaken and to Eastlake. Over the bridge and back down through UW, over Montlake Bridge, through the Marsh Islands and to Foster Point. From here through Arboretum Park to Madison Avenue and back to our starting point. Details: Start at Madison Bakery (different than our usual start point). Go a short way up Madison, Left on McGilvray, left on 39th until Lake Washington Blvd where we make a right. Up the hill a short way, left on E. Harrison, right on 28th Ave E. This converts to 26th Ave E. Left on Galer street until the southern tip of Interlaken where we take Interlaken Dr. E on the right. Thru Interlaken park until we make a right on 19th Ave E. then a quick left on Boyer Ave E. which converts to Furhaman ave all the way to Eastlake Ave. where we make a right and go over Bridge. Cross the bridge and make first right on NE Pacific Street thru UW until we make a right on Montlake Blvd. As soon as we cross the Montlake Bridge we make a left on Lake Washington Ship Canal Waterway which becomes the Arboretum Waterfront Trail and takes us via Marsh Island to Foster Point. We loop back on Foster Point Trail which should be come Arboretum Dr. E and take us right thru the Arboretum Park. At the end this converts to Lake Washington Blvd. which runs into Madison Avenue. Here we make a left until we get back to the Bakery.

6:30 - 7:00 Arrive for warm up as needed 7:00pm Workouts begin For anyone that wants to develop running strength/speed. Generally[masked] meter intervals at date pace w/1:45 recovery. All abilities! Generally have different workouts going for individual needs. Workouts: TBD

Sunday Run - Green Lake Peet's

Peet's Coffee

Regular route from Peet's: through Cowen Park and along the BG Trail to Stone Way. At the top of Stone Way, head back to the lake: CCW for 7.5 miles, CW for 9. 9-9:30 min/mile pace
